Huawei Company plans to open a research and development centre in Tatarstan

On November 16, in Shenzhen (China), Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaykhutdinov and Vice-President of the Huawei for global cooperation Zhou Weihua signed a memorandum on cooperation between the Ministry and the Huawei.

The Memorandum touches a whole range of goals and objectives that contribute to the exchange of experience in such priority areas as research in the area of the development of modern technologies, involvement of scientific personnel and start-ups of the republic to joint research.

The parties also agreed to hold mutual consultations on the exchange of scientific and practical experience and also intend to consider the possibility of organizing a Huawei research laboratory in Tatarstan.
