IT-Olympiad among pensioners to be held in Tatarstan for the first time

The first republican IT-Olympiad among pensioners and RT citizens of preretirement age will be held in the Kazan IT-park on April 17.
106 people representing the Tatarstan municipal regions are to take part in the Olympiad. They are graduates of the “University of the third age” who had studied the basics of computer literacy within the actions “Internet-longevity” and “Computer literacy campaign”, and veterans of the republican enterprises and organizations who had passed training.
One of the conditions is that participants must be specialists in the sphere of info-communication technologies.
Participants will have to demonstrate their skills in making virtual cards, write a text about Kazan using Internet resources and make an inquiry on the Portal of state services uslugi.tatarstan.ru. The fulfilled tasks will be sent to the jury via e-mail.
Winners and participants of the Olympiad will receive prize certificates for the sum of 3 - 30 thousand roubles. A laptop will be granted to the oldest of them.
The event is organized by the Ministry of labor, employment and social protection, the Ministry of informatization and communications, the Ministry of education and science under the auspices of the branch of RF Pension fund on RT, the Union of pensioners of Russia, the Republican Council of public organization of veterans (pensioners) and Tatmedia agency.
