Best students-programmers come to Kazan to take part in IT Olympiad

Opening of All-Russia final of V International Olympiad in the sphere of information technologies for students “IT-planet 2011/12” was held in IT-park on April 5.
Vice-premier – minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, chairman of organizing committee of the international student Olympiad IT-planet Sergei Shalashny, director of GAU “High technology park “IT-park” Dinar Nasyrov took part in the event.
The International Olympiad IT-planet has been held since 2007. Kazan will be the first city to host finalists of this big event in 2012. About 100 students of institutions of higher and secondary professional education from across Russia who showed best results during selection stages will come to the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Olympiad is held under the auspices of RF Ministry of telecommunications, RF Ministry of sport, tourism and youth policy, RF Ministry of education and science, Executive office of plenipotentiary of RF President in Volga federal district, D-link, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, CISCO, 1C, Adobe Systems, Intel companies.
Winning in “IT-planet” gives students an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in IT sphere and get acquainted with potential employers.
Nikolai Nikiforov wished all participants good luck and suggested students realizing their potential in Kazan IT-park.

The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
