On September 28, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov, as a member of Tatarstan delegation, visited the Sino-Russian Technology Park in Yantai Hi-tech Zone.
The technology park was established in 1998 and forms the business incubation model through sustainable cooperation with Russia and the CIS countries in such spheres as the use and creation of new materials, bioengineering, the integration of electronic and mechanical systems, highly efficient agriculture and other areas.
The technology park is a state technological business incubator. There are more than 120 small and medium-sized enterprises there. Its residents have filled in more than 60 patent applications, signed more than 10 international scientific and technical agreements. As many as 800 jobs have been created in the park.
At his meeting with senior managers of the Sino-Russian Technology Park, leadership of the republic emphasized that Tatarstan is interested in cooperation.
The Chinese side expressed its readiness to set up a special site in the park with a presentation of the industrial and innovative potential of Tatarstan.
