People’s Inspector helps in establishing accessible environment for Tatarstan citizens

There are about 300,000 people with disabilities in Tatarstan. They face a wide variety of barriers in daily life, while using vehicles, traveling on sidewalks, visiting medical institutions. The people’s Inspector mobile application is developed to help in solving the issues of environment accessibility for the people with impaired mobility.

Since 2015, users of the e-service can send video materials to the state agencies that fix illegal parking of drivers in places for the disabled people. Since the beginning of the year, the People's Inspector has received over 1,600 videos with similar violations, according to the results of which the police issues fines for the offenders.
