Roman Shakhutdinov takes part in the SPIEF-2018
On May 24, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatizaion and Communication Roman Shaikhutdnov arrived on a working visit in Saint Petersburg to take part in the 22nd Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), held on May 22-24, under the slogan “Building a Trust Economy”.
Shaikhutdinov together with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a number of business meetings with representatives of foreign IT-companies. During the meeting with the member of the Board, general counsel and chief franchise officer Timothy Murphy, the parties discussed the results of the implementation of the pilot project “Map of the citizen of the Republic of Tatarstan” in Zelenodolsk.
Minnikhanov and Murphy discussed further expansion of cooperation of Tatarstan and MasterCard Company in the area of big data and boosting e-commerce.
At the meeting with the senior executives of IBM Corporation, the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation between Tatarstan and IBM in the field of e-health, the development of contacts in science and education, the use of IBM's experience and technologies in the digital development of the republic.
