Construction of IT-village in Tatarstan will provide thousands of jobs

Vice-premier - minister of info and communications Nikolay Nikiforov believes that IT-village that is being constructed in Tatarstan may become new point of economic growth for republic. Such idea was expressed by him at a briefing in IT-park dedicated to realization of project on creating innovative center “IT-village” in republic.
It is expected that at the beginning overall production volume of resident companies will make no less than 20 bln. roubles. Development of products, technologies and execution of a patent will be accompanied by capitalization of intellectual property and attraction of foreign investments. It enables assessing “production volume” of IT-village in prospect (50-70 bln. roubles per year).
Construction of IT-village will favor organizing 5-10 thousand jobs for local IT-specialists, attracting 10-15 thousand IT-specialists from other Russian regions and will procure work for 20 000 people in service sector.
First construction stage will start in spring 2012. The development process will depend on business activity and may take 5-7 years. The project will be realized on private - public partnership basis.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
