Details of IT-village master-plan discussed at VI Russian-Singapore business forum

Tatarstan leadership is ready to support Asian investors and is willing to see them in republic, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov stated in the course of VI Russian-Singapore business forum.
On September 26 members of Tatarstan delegation met with potential investors - representatives of big companies of Singapore and other Asian countries.
In the meeting took part RT Vice-premier – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Chief of investment development Agency Linar Yakupov, Director of Department for external relations - Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov, board Chairman of Ak Bars Bank Robert Musin, Director general of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov.
We remind that last year within the limits of forum between Tatarstan and Singapore the Agreement about participation of a leading Singapore company RSP Architects&Engineers PTE Ltd in development of master-plan for IT-Village in area of 1200 hectares. In the nearest few years 20 000 IT specialists will be working on this territory (35 km away from Kazan). Singapore experience determined the main idea of the project realization “Live, Learn, Work & Play”.
This year in the course of visit to Singapore Tatarstan delegation has met with Director of RSP Company Liu Thai Kar to discuss details of further realization of master-plan and development of IT-Village. Currently cooperation between Tatarstan and Singapore is being realized in education, health care, IT.
Readiness of Tatarstan for further close cooperation with Singapore was discussed at a session of Intergovernmental Russian-Singapore commission of high level on September, 13 in Moscow.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
