Conference dedicated to “Electronic education” in Tatarstan Republic opened

I International conference “Electronic school – 2011” has opened at GTRK “Riviera”. It is organized by RT Ministry of education and science and corporation “Intel” with the assistance of RT Ministry of info and communications.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, first Vice-speaker of RF State Duma Oleg Morozov, Deputy prime minister - Minister of info and communications Nikolay Nikiforov, RT Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov, Vice-president of “Intel” Corporation John Davis and Director-general of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Kogogin took part in plenary session of the conference.
By and large, 300 people take part in the conference. Among them are representatives of management authorities of education and informatization from 35 Russian regions and specialists in this sphere from 11 foreign countries.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized in his welcoming speech that the discussed topic is rather important for everyone. “Our competitiveness will depend on level of education we have. This conference will let us accumulate mistakes of our colleagues and demonstrate our achievements in this sphere”, - Head of republic said. By his words, education needs huge investments, but these expenses are reasonable.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked “Intel” company for support and noted that such conferences would be held annually.
Vice-president of “Intel” corporation John Davis told that Tatarstan schools are provided with the most advanced equipment and he was really impressed.
By words of Deputy Premier – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Russia is currently engaged in transfer to rendering state, public and socially significant services in electronic format. He believes that it should be based on development of basic infrastructure.
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
