Innopolis University achieved certain results in implementing programmes of pre-university education in robotics at Tatarstan schools. 3,350 pupils of 5-11 forms passed the training, more than 100 teachers took up professional development training under STEM-robotics programme. In June Innopolis University held a Russian round of World Robotics Olympiad with participation of 720 children from 42 Russian regions.
The project “School card” will be officially launched in Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny on April 1. 96 schoolswill be equipped with access control systems developed by a Tatarstan company, and terminals for topping up cards. Electronic state services and PayPass service will also be available on the terminals.
Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications will support “Earth Hour” campaign organized by WWF again this year. On March 28, from 20.30 to 21.30 all organizations subordinate to the ministry will switch off emergency lighting at administrative buildings and appliances that are not connected with life support and safety assurance of employees.
Regional contest “IT-champion-2015” started on March 18. 3,188 pupils have already joined the contest. Pupils show citizens how to use the portal of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan. Adults save pupils’ logins from the system “Electronic education in the Republic of Tatarstan”. Pupils get scores for payments made by adults on the portal.
Mass enrollment of children in preschool educational organizations for 2015-2016 academic year via the automated information system “Electronic kindergarten” will start on April 1 in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny.
A meeting of employees of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Health, developers of the system “Electronic health care” and medical workers was held at City hospital №7.
Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications decided to stop sending sms with school marks in connection with the increase of tariffs of mobile operators. As an alternative, parents can subscribe for push-messages available for users of the mobile application “Services of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
On March 26, at his meeting with Director General of Huawei Enterprise Business Group in Russia Cao Chong, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov told about innovative potential of the republic and telecommunication projects realized in Tatarstan. Cooperation in IT industry was discussed at the meeting.
A videoconference with territorial social protection authorities and Ministry of Information and Communications was held at Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection on Wednesday. Issues of work in state information system “Social population register of the Republic of Tatarstan” were discussed at the conference.
A round-table discussion on organization of IT teaching at secondary schools was held at school № 548, the educational center of a famous Russian teacher Efim Rachevsky, in Moscow.
