Governor of Ivanovo region Pavel Konkov visited Kazan IT-park during his two-day working visit to Tatarstan.
Pavel Konkov was met by Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov.

More than 400 people took part in All-Russia conference “Teaching information technologies in Russia” on May 13-14 at Perm state university. They discussed problems and tasks faced by educational industry to satisfy the needs of IT sector in personnel. CEO of the Center of information technologies Tatyana Kamaletdinova told about opening of IT classes in the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to 56,228 applications sent to the State Information System “Social register of population of the Republic of Tatarstan”, 47,368 individual programmes for rendering social services have been made up.

The final of 5th Regional youth forum was held on May 13-15 at Kazan IT-park. One of the sections discussed the dialogue between authorities and young people. Deputy Prime Minister of Information and Communications Anatoly Geller met participants of the forum at press center of the technopark. They discussed participation of the youth in development of information technologies in Tatarstan. Participants of the meeting raised topical issues, such as education, vocational guidance, employment and career.

Innopolis University and CERN signed Memorandum on cooperation in different scientific areas. Joint research work will be carried out to study tools and methods which guarantee the quality of scientific computing, resilient and hybrid systems and social media.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with representatives of Majid Al Futtaim company (UAE) Frank Vitek and Pierre Kassimatis at the Government House of the republic.

Open day will be held at Higher school of information technologies and systems on May 17 at 12:00. Applicants will attend lectures of a famous futurologist Danila Medvedev “Future of information systems” and get a certificate and use it for entering any IT university in the country.

For four months Tatarstan citizens made appointment at the doctor’s online more than 1.7 million times. The service is available on the portal of state services of the Republic of Tatarstan, infomats “Electronic Tatarstan”, terminals of queuing system, mobile application and doctor’s automated work place.

New categories “Violation of labour protection requirements” (moderator – State labour inspection of the Republic of Tatarstan), “Unofficial forms of labour payment” (moderator – Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection), “Unofficial labour relations” (moderator – Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection), and “Unauthorized pits” (Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources) have been introduced in the State Information System “Public control”.

A solemn meeting and flower-laying ceremony was held near the Unknown Soldier Monument in Kazan. Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Director General of OAO “Tattelecom” Lutfulla Shafigullin, Director of Radio and Television Broadcasting Center of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Yakimov, Director of Tatarstan branch of Russian post Regina Kuznetsova and WWII veterans took part in the event.
