On the threshold of the International children’s day, on the initiative of children’s rights ombudsman in the Republic of Tatarstan and Regional commission for juvenile affairs, the Regional forum to protect children from information harmful for their heath and development was held in Kazan on May 30.

Science day was held at Innopolis lyceum on May 27. Nine projects were presented to experts, pro-rector of Innopolis University Sergey Masyagin, Head of the Department for education and culture of the Center of information technologies Timur Khakimov, and others.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications informs that planned maintenance works will be carried out at facilities of Radio and television broadcasting center in Shemordan township on May 30-31 and June 1-2 from 9.15 till 17.00.

There are 1 mln and 116 thousand users of cable TV in the republic. 792,000 of them are users of cable TV and IPTV. 324, 000 people use satellite TV.

On May 25-28, Kazan is hosting a session of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG). More than 200 delegates who represent local self-government of its member cities are taking part in the event.

On May 26, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a plenary session of the tenth national conference, IT & Security Forum 2016.

In his welcoming remarks, Minnikhanov noted that over the past ten years the forum have been gathering the industry leaders. 

A press conference dedicated to presentation of Russian Internet Forum RIF.Innopolis 2016 and conference of system software developers OS DAY 2016 will be held at Tatar-Inform information agency on June 2. Members of regional government, Mayor of Innopolis, and other officials will attend the press conference.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of Supervisory council of Innopolis SEZ at the Cabinet of Ministers.

The counilc approved five new residents with the total amount of investment of 2.1 bln rubles.
