Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of Supervisory council of Innopolis SEZ at the Cabinet of Ministers. The council considered and approved projects of five companies that are planning to become residents of Innopolis SEZ with the total amount of investments of 2.1 bln rubles.

The 6th conference Java Day Kazan – 2016 will be held at Kazan IT-park on May 31. Representatives of java society from Kazan, Tatarstan and Russia will take part in the event.

Rostech, the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) and other investors will choose the best technologies for industry at the conference “Digital industry of industrial Russia” (June 7-10, Innopolis). It is the first conference in Russia where representatives of young technology companies can meet with representatives of industry.

On May 25, a day before the opening of the anniversary forum IT & SECURITY, representatives of top 30 Russian IT companies will meet at Innopolis University. Rector of the university Aleksandr Tormasov will tell about mutually beneficial cooperation between the industry and IT university through the example of the creation of new cloud technologies for data storage and management.

On May 21, on the anniversary of the adoption of Islam in Volga Bulgaria, the electronic system of visitor registration was launched in Bolgar museum reserve. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and other guests took part in the launching ceremony.

Members of Tatarstan team and experts in IT competences arrived in Krasnogorsk to take part in the final of the National championship WorldSkills Russia 2016 at Crocus Expo on May 23-27. The team of Kazan technical school of IT and communications will take part in competitions in “Graphic design”, “Web design”, “Mobile robotics”, “IT software solutions for business”, “Video editing”, and “Information cable networks”.

On May 23, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov will hold the reception of citizens on 16:00 at 8, Kremlevskaya street.

The final round of at All-Russia Olympiad of professional skills in the category “Informatics and computing technology” was held at Plekhanov Russian university of economics on May 17-19.

On May 20, Deputy Director General of Russian Post Sergey Timoshin and First Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Yuri Bagrov inspected the work of post offices in Kazan.
