On August 26, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of “Sberbank-Technology” Alisa Melnikova discussed perspective areas of cooperation in the sphere of high technologies.
Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to Tatarstan President Albert Nafigin, Director General of AO Innopolis SEZ Igor Nosov, and Mayor of Innopolis Egor Ivanov were present at the meeting.

“Innopolis University takes up leading positions in rating of Russian universities, and it is a big merit of ideologists of this project, teachers and all our partners,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

Representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications handed over 100 school bags to first-grade pupils of Verkhneuslonsky region. The ministry expresses gratitude to 14 companies for participation in the campaign “Help to get ready for school”.
On August 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met IBM Director General in Central and Eastern Europe Michel Charouk, who he invited to Kazan at the international economic forum in July.
IBM is interested in cooperation with Innopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Also, ICL is building a new technopark in Laishevo region, and Rustam Minnikhanov suggested the company expanding its presence in Russia by using this area.
