The awarding ceremony of the winners of the 29th All-Russia Olympiad in informatics was held in Tatarstan yesterday. Ten children from Tatarstan became winners of the Olympiad.
Children from 50 regions were competing for victory. By results of the preliminary, first and second rounds the jury selected 115 winners.
Suspended communication lines are being changed for underground communications lines in the republic. Communication operators and executive authorities of Tatarstan regions have liquidated 32,6 km of communications lines.

On March 27, the awarding ceremony of employees of AO “ICL-KPO VS” group was held at Korston hotel. The ceremony was dedicated to summarizing of results of ICL activity in its 25th anniversary year. Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and First deputy minister Dmitry Vandyukov attended the ceremony.
Experts of the Center of monitoring of technological modernization and scientific-technical development of All-Russia people’s front and representatives of Russian universities arrived on a working visit in Kazan. The purpose of their visit was acquaintance with Tatarstan experience in IT entrepreneurship.
Graduates of Kazan national research university received diplomas major in “Fixed networks of broadband access”. The diplomas were handed in by Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Dmitry Vandyukov, who congratulated graduates on the selection of a interesting and popular profession.
The project on having a single library card was launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of culture and state and municipal libraries in the republic in January 2017.
More than 1400 Tatarstan libraries already have a single library card.
