The XXIX All-Russia school Olympiad in informatics opened at Innopolis University today. 257 pupils of 7-11 forms from 50 Russian regions are taking part in the event. Young programmers will compete for the right to present the country at the international Olympiad in Iran in July-August 2017.
Selection competitions WorldSkills-2017 in five IT competences “Information cable networks”, “IT software solutions for business”, “web development”, “Engineering design CAD”, and “Network and system administration” have been held in Kazan for the last two days.
The Center of information technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan is considering new services in the sphere of transportations, insurance and tourism to be implemented on the Portal of state services.
Companies working in the mentioned spheres can send requests and take part in the selection.
All spectators of FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 should have the fan’s passport to enter the stadium. It is a laminated document with the owner’s personal information.
The fan’s passport is a compulsory document for all fans.
Final competitions will be held at Innopolis University on March 26-April 1. The winners will be announced on March 31 at the closing ceremony.
The biggest delegations will come from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, the Republic of Tatarstan, and Moscow region.
On March 22, High technology park “IT-park” and the Finnish accelerator Startup Sauna held a local selection of start-up projects for Startup Sauna-2017. Three projects, Maksat, Halal Guide, Getcoder were selected and will be among best projects in Russia, Scandinavia, Baltic countries and Eastern Europe.

He has visited multi-purpose center in Novo-Savinovsky district in Kazan where Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Timur Zaripov told about development of state and municipal services in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Educational programme «inIT» for disabled people started at IT-park on March 21. The course is organized by IT park and Regional public organization of disabled people “Integration” with the support of Kazan branch of Global Shapers Сommunity.
