According to Hi-Tech Internet publication, researchers used artificial intelligence to detect nearly 6,000 previously unknown types of viruses. 

The project of the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the republic “E-Education” became one of the winners of the prestigious international contest of the Forum of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) - WSIS Prizes-2018, aimed at identifying the best world practices in the use of information and communication technologies. On March 20, the award ceremony took place in Geneva (Switzerland).

On March 21, during his working visit to Switzerland, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov visited the largest Swiss Science and Technology Park Y (Y-PARC-Swiss Technopole) in the city of Yverdon-les-Bains.

On March 20, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov is on a working visit in Switzerland as a member of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan. The aim of the Minister’s visit is to get acquainted with the facilities of IT- infrastructure of Switzerland.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications informs that from March 20 to April 29, the planned works on installation of the architectural and artistic illumination of the tower at the radio center. 

HighTech Magazine informs that scientists have created a mechanical arm that can translate spoken words into sign language. Its inventor, Erwin Smith, noted that his development would "change the life of the deaf community" and become a cheap personal interpreter for them.

Last weekend, the 29th spring selection of startup projects was held in the business incubator of the IT-park in Kazan.
