From the 2nd of May to the 9th of May, 2018, the Russian Post will deliver over 1.5 million personal congratulations from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the 73rd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War to veterans of the war and to the home front workers.

According to Hi-Tech publication, an artist and scientist Eric Paulos from the University of California, Berkeley has developed interactive HairIO hair that can receive notifications, respond to messages and even change the style and hairstyle of the owner.

Andrey Yudov is appointed the director of the branch of Rostelecom in Tatarstan.

On April 24-25, in the IT park of Kazan, the IT-project of the students of the IT-lyceum of the KFU was awarded at the regional youth forum “Our Tatarstan”. Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin handed in the award to the authors of the project – Ildan Petrov and Albina Missarova.

On April 25, in the Moscow Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin met the first graduates of the programme for the development of the human resources management reserve. Roman Shaihutdinov, Minister of Informatization and Communication of Tatarstan, was among the graduates of the programme.

The list of demanded professions and specialties corresponding to the priority areas of economic development of Tatarstan for 2019-2025 have been approved by Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan. The document will be the basis for the projection of the needs of the republic in personnel, as well as establishing benchmarks for admission of applicants to educational institutions.

On April 25, the Russian telecommunication operator and digital services provider “MTS” and the world producer in the area of  information and communication technologies Ericsson Company have opened a joint Research and Development Centre in Innopolis, to develop and launch on the Russian and global markets innovative products and solutions based on 5G, IoT and Big Data. Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin and other officials took part in the solemn event.
