On June 5, Roman Shaykhutdinov was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan and released from the post of Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication. He will be responsible for the issues of Innopolis development and a number of areas of the digital economy.

From July 23 till July 31 iVolga Youth Forum of Volga Federal District will be held in the Samara region. This is a unique opportunity for young people to receive a grant of up to 300,000 roubles for the implementation of their projects. The total grant fund of the forum is over 10 million roubles.

Winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren will receive a scholarship of 50,000 roubles per month during the first year of study with the possibility of receiving it for the whole period of studying for a bachelor degree at Innopolis University.

On May 24, the 4th Conference “Information Technology of Industrial Russia” ended in Innopolis (Republic of Tatarstan). Technology cooperation became the key topic of the event. The discussion focused on the implementation strategy of Digital Economy national programme  and the presentation of road maps on 9 cross-cutting technologies.

Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication informs citizens of Almetyevsk that maintenance works will be carried out since May 28 till May 30.

The transition to digital broadcasting in Tatarstan and in 20 more regions of the Russian Federation was postponed from June 3 to October 14.

It was originally intended that the third stage of digitalization, in June, will take place in 57 regions and will be the last. However, the Russian Government postponed the transition to a “digit” for 21 entities of the Russian Federation on October 14. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov appealed the Russian Government to include Tatarstan in this list.

The final of the 7th Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia) National Competition – 2019 finished in Kazan last Friday. Tatarstan citizens won 21 prizes in IT competencies, including 10 gold medals.

Last week, at the Information Technology of Industrial Russia Conference, the founders of Innopolis University, namely Russian Ministry of the Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and the Republic of Tatarstan represented by the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the republic announced about the decision to renew the Supervisory Board.

On May 24, on the sidelines of Information Technology of Industrial Russia Conference held at Innopolis University, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaykhutdinov introduced a design solution of Tatarstan, which got to the second stage of the contest of digital solutions for the regions, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects. In total of 146 applications from 43 entities of Russia were submitted to the contest, as many as 30 of them got to the second stage.
