On December 23, speaking at a working meeting with industry enterprises, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Airat Khairullin said that the winner of the all-Russian contest "Digital Breakthrough" Bulat Zamaliev was appointed the Commissioner of artificial intelligence technologies in Tatarstan.
Zamaliev is a graduate of the Kazan IT Park business incubator and the author of Digital Village.
The new Commissioner will develop an artificial intelligence development strategy in Tatarstan, interact with Russian and international partners to implement joint AI projects, establish a professional community for the development and operation of AI products, search for new solutions using AI technologies to improve the socio-economic development of the region and the quality of life of residents of the republic and fight against the phenomenon of “artificial intelligence bias”.
