Since the beginning of the humanitarian action organized by the Russian Post and Russian Public Television, the Russians have already sent about 13,000 parcels.

The residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Bryansk, Tver, Moscow, Samara, Chelyabinsk regions, Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Tatarstan are taking the most active part in the campaign.

On October 1-2, 2019, Kazan will host the 3rd IoT & AI (the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence) World Summit Russia, which will bring together over 3000 delegates and 200 industry experts from 25 countries, in particular the Netherlands, France, Germany, the USA, Norway, Sweden, Israel , the UK, Russia, Turkey and others.

Tatarstan innovation small enterprises can apply for grants of the Innovation Assistance Fund under the national programme "Digital Economy". Grants are aimed at supporting the development of products, services and platform solutions based on cross-cutting technologies, including artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, new production technologies, robotics and sensor components, wireless communication technologies, distributed registry systems, quantum technologies.

Interregional Competence Center - the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications is enrolling the residents of the republic of pre-retirement age for free training on Web Design and Development Competence until September, 1. The training starts in the technical college on September, 5.

The final of the All-Russian Digital Breakthrough Contest - one of the flagship projects of “Russia - the Land of Opportunities” Non-Profit Organization will be held in Kazan from September, 27 to September, 29. The decision about holding the event in Kazan was taken at a meeting of the organizing committee of the final contest on July 24.

On July 23, speaking at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Airat Khairullin said that every day, about 600 citizens of the republic are transiting to digital broadcasting, but 118,000 people continue to watch analog television. The task of the ministry is to inform all these citizens about the ways of connecting digital equipment, to watch 20 TV channels in high digital quality.

On July 23, Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Airat Khairullin personally checked the readiness of the largest Kazan Telecentre in the republic to transition to a digital signal throughout the territory it covers - these are 486 settlements of Tatarstan, where more than 1.3 million people live.

On July 22, Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Airat Khairullin paid a working visit to Alekseevsk municipal region of the republic and personally checked the readiness of the region to digital broadcasting transition.

Tatarstan Ministry of Economy started accepting applications for subsidies from the regional budget from non-profit organizations implementing socially significant projects.
