Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov met Tatarstan team that will take part in the final of WorldSkills Russia in Krasnodar on May 15-19. Students reached the final by results of preliminary competitions. The winners will be recommended for participation in world championships WorldSkills Abu-Dhabi — 2017 and WorldSkills Kazan — 2019.

On May 4, Tatarstan delegation took part in bilateral meeting with the Head of ERTICO - ITS Europe in Brussels Jakob Bangsgaard. the delegation consisted of Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Anatoly Geller, Director of the State budgetary institution “Road safety” Rifkat Minnikhanov, and Director of OOO “Kazan Telematika” Marsel Nigmetzyanov.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications has finished work on improving the information system where regional job centers work. New software was installed, the existing database was updated, and users were taught how to work in the system.

On May 1, Additional center for distribution of fans’ passports (FAN-ID) opened in Kazan.

FAN-ID is a compulsory document for all spectators of Confederations Cup 2017. This ID card gives foreign citizens and persons without citizenship the right of visa-free entry to Russia for 10 days before the first match and free pass in cities where matches of Confederations Cup 2017 will be held.

On April 28, the cargo airplane Ту-204-100С of the Russian Post “Peter I” landed at Kazan airport. It delivered 22 tonnes of postal items for processing them at new logistics center.

On April 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the Russian Venture Forum in the city of Innopolis. This format has replaced the venture fairs and other regional events, with innovative companies and start-ups in search of investment being its main audience.

A special match CSKA - Rubin will be held within the framework of the preparation for Confederations Cup 2017 and FIFA World Cup 2018 at Kazan-Arena stadium on May 17.
