Megafon won the tender for rendering mobile services for events and organizing committee of the Confederations Cup-2017 and FIFA World Cup-2018. According to requirements of the organizing committee, the operator provides 27 telecommunications services at Kazan-Arena stadium and in 15 areas of arrival, accommodation and official events.

Java Day Kazan – 2017 will be held at the center of modern culture “Smena” on May 19. The event is held for the 7th time and gathers representatives of java community of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia.  

The popularity of the service on checking payments of kindergarten services on the portal of state and municipal services has increased twice. 53,000 payments for the total sum of 122,7 mln roubles were made in April 2016, and more than 89,000 payments for the sum of 199,9 mln roubles were made in April 2017.    

The Portal of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan is becoming more popular. Tatarstan citizens have made more than 2,6 payments from the beginning of the year. The most popular services are payment of housing and utility services, services of preschool educational institutions, and fines for road traffic offence.

On May 12, 13 Open Day was held at Kazan technical school of information technologies and communications. Future students and their parents learnt about enrollment requirements and educational programmes. More than 250 people took part in the event.

On May 5, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov took part in a solemn event dedicated to Victory day and Radio Day at radio broadcasting center of the Republic of Tatarstan. New exposition of the history of the company was opened during the event.

A solemn ceremony of awarding the best employees of information and communications industry was held on the threshold of the Day of radio and communications at Kazan IT-park. Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov summarized results of the year and presented state awards to the best employees.
