The Republic of Tatarstan becomes leader by the number of bids sent for All-Russia contest “PROF-IT”
Acceptance of applications for All-Russia contest “PROF-IT” finished on April 11. Promotion of innovative methods for developing economic sectors and increasing efficiency of work of authorities using ICT upon rendering state services in the sphere of education, health care, housing and municipal economy, and social industry. The contest will be held till May 30, 2014.
Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication is preparing the bid for holding European Congress on Intellectual Transport Systems in Kazan in 2016, and joining ERTICO, Europe's Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Organization.
Tickets for any performance shown at G.Kamal theatre can now be bought via infomat “Electronic Tatarstan” that was installed at the theatre. You can also buy tickets for cultural and sports events, and National museum on the Portal of state services and using mobile application “Services of the Republic of Tatarstan” that is available in AppStore and PlayMarket.

On April 18 Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication and Ministry of Emergency Situations will take part in testing of emergency alerting system in Tatarstan municipalities.
Parents can now view electronic version of their child’s school diary on the portal of state and municipal services uslugi.tatarstan.ru. They can also sign for receiving sms notifications about academic performance and attendance. Earlier this service was available on the portal “Electronic education in the Republic of Tatarstan” edu.tatar.ru
The issue of capital repair is widely discussed in the public. Users of the Portal uslugi.tatarstan.ru regularly send appeals to the state information system “Public control” concerning unsatisfactory condition of the housing fund, requesting for capital repair and distribution of funds they pay in accordance with the bills.
50, 000 pupils took part in regional contest “IT champion” for one month. The contest is held in two stages: on March 15 - May 25, and on May 26 – December 10. Pupils of 1-11 forms can take part in the contest. By results of the contest three pupils from each municipality will get laptops.
On April 17 Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov visited Hong Kong Science and Technology Park with Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

On April 16 delegation of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication led by First Deputy Minister Yury Bagrov visited Bakhchisarai region in Crimea to see the current situation in the sphere of information and communication and render methodological aid to the region.

On April 24 conference “IT park- the centre of solutions and IT outsourcing” will be held at Naberezhnye Chelny IT park with the auspices of Russian Ministry of Communication and Mass Media, Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication, and Naberezhnye Chelny Mayor’s Office.
