On October 23, during his working visit to the USA as member of Tatarstan delegation, Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov visited specialized exhibition held under Oracle OpenWorld 2018 International Conference.

On October 19, the IoT Samsung Academy laboratory opened at the Higher School of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of the Kazan Federal University (ITIS KFU). The KFU has become the third university in Russia, where the programme is operating.

At his interview to TASS News Agency, Minister of Informatization and Communication of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov said that it is planned to equip all institutions of secondary vocational education of the region with Wi-Fi access points by the end of 2018.

The second selection of high school students into the Yandex.Lyceum educational project was held in Tatarstan. About 2,000 students 8-9th grades submitted their applications for free programming courses.

The Russian Post, the Victory Museum and the Charity foundation of Oksana Fedorova “Hurry up for good Deeds!” hold the New Year drawing contest “Draw the Christmas Tree of Victory”. The best works of young artists will be posted on postcards. Russian Post will issue Limited Edition of these postcards on December, 2018.
