On May 24, on the sidelines of Information Technology of Industrial Russia Conference held at Innopolis University, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaykhutdinov introduced a design solution of Tatarstan, which got to the second stage of the contest of digital solutions for the regions, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects. In total of 146 applications from 43 entities of Russia were submitted to the contest, as many as 30 of them got to the second stage.

The Innopolis Special Economic Zone and McFly.aero International Alliance the agreed on joint development and implementation of new transport systems based on aerotaxi. At the meeting between the representatives of the Zone, developers of air taxi and resident-companies, Director General of the Innopolis SEZ Renat Khalimov and Director General of McFly Russia Artem Kharchenko signed a memorandum on the joint development of an integrated technological complex of terrestrial infrastructure and air traffic control systems in Innopolis.
On March 18, speaking at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the task of the managing company of the zone is to support new companies implementing their projects in the SEZ and the leadership of Tatarstan is ready to provide all the necessary support.
