In the first half of 2021, Tatarstan residents paid over 22,000 fines for traffic violations at post offices. Due to the fact that the Russian Post works through the State Information System on State and Municipal Payments, information about the payment is provided to the traffic police instantly.
Russian Post launched a new service for individuals across the country. The service helps the recipient to pay for the delivery of the parcel. Now it is available only in the Android Mail Application, but in the future it will be available to the owners of smartphones on iOS and visitors to the company's website.
In 2020, the number of clients - individuals of the Russian Post who have connected the service of e-registered letters - increased by 76 per cent. In 2019, there were 3.4 million of them, at the end of 2020 - 6 million. The number of legal entities using the service of receiving letters increased from 3,000 to 17,000.
A new feature has appeared in the Russian Post mobile application: now each user can send a parcel to the addressee using only his phone number.
