Now it has become easier to register biometric data online due to the new AI assistant. Artificial intelligence analyzes the video stream in real time and gives the user hints for successful completion of the registration procedure.
The unified biometric system provides access to various services: contactless payment, travel on public transport, remote business opening, service at the MFC, check-in at a hotel without a passport and other services.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the creation of a national messenger, which will be integrated with government services. Tatarstan became a pilot region for the implementation of this new platform.
This decision is due to the high level of digitalization of the republic, which has been recognized as a leader among Russian regions in this indicator. Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin noted: "This initiative opens a new stage in the development of domestic digital infrastructure. Our region has the necessary infrastructure and competencies accumulated over the years of successful implementation of digital projects."
On November 30, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization, Information Technologies and Communications Airat Khairullin took part in an opening ceremony of AL Journey Regional Conference, dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and data analysis, and held at Kazan National Research Technical University named after Andey Tupolev – Kazan Aviation Institute.
Tatarstan is among the pilot regions for the provision of digital certificates from the state for the development of competencies in the digital economy.
The selection of educational programmes for citizens participation in the system of providing personal certificates was launched under the federal project "Personnel for the Digital Economy".
