Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree reducing the threshold for entry into the Chelny Advanced Development Territory. Due to the new document, platforms for the development of new technologies can become the residents of the Naberezhnye Chelny Territory.

According to the decree, the resident’s total investment in the project should be not less than 20 million roubles instead of 50 million. Moreover, the volume of investments should be 2.5 million in the first year, whereas before it was 5 million. The requirements for the number of staff also decreased, instead of 30 people, only 15 are enough.

Russian fund of information technology development started accepting applications for participation in the competitive selection of grant recipients for projects on the development of domestic software and increase its share in the digital economy, as well as the development of technological solutions for the creation of federal and regional state information resources using technology of distributed registries; the introduction of methods and technologies for processing and storing information.

On December 23, speaking at a working meeting with industry enterprises, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Airat Khairullin said that the winner of the all-Russian contest "Digital Breakthrough" Bulat Zamaliev was appointed the Commissioner of artificial intelligence technologies in Tatarstan.

Zamaliev is a graduate of the Kazan IT Park business incubator and the author of Digital Village.
