More than 200 people donated blood within the limits of Donor days in IT-park on July, 5-6. Among them were employees of resident companies of IT-park, business incubator, Managing company GAU “Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park”, RT Ministry of info and communications.

Chiefs encouraged their employees by their own examples. Today Deputy Premier – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov joined the “marathon” of donors. “This is the first time I act as a donor. Fortunately, no one of my family or friends has ever faced blood transfusion. But it is important for me to be involved in rendering help”, - Nikolai Nikiforov explained. Just after blood transfusion Nikolai Nikiforov had to leave for Naberezhnye Chelny.

Being in good spirits Nikolai Nikiforov demonstrated that in most cases recovery after donation takes minimum time or no time at all. Specialists say that blood transfusion stations experience blood deficiency. Many megapolis dwellers refuse from donation because the lack of time. Due to the state program on developing volunteer donation “Blood service” those willing to donate blood could do it without leaving their jobs. A mobile station arrived in IT park. “About 1000 people presenting intellectual resources of the city are concentrated in IT park, The average age is 24. They are young and healthy people without bad habits. I believe in due course we will have honorable donors here”, - Deputy Director of IT-park Ramil Ibragimov said. He also donated blood for the first time and noted that personal example works much better than any slogan.

Those who did not make their mind to donate blood at first day realized it at the second. Colleagues proved that it does not bring any unpleasant feelings or harm.

Donors were encouraged by two days off and paid dinner. It is planned that Donor days will become traditional in IT-park and will be held twice a year.
