Innopolis University and CERN sign agreement on cooperation

Innopolis University and CERN signed Memorandum on cooperation in different scientific areas. Joint research work will be carried out to study tools and methods which guarantee the quality of scientific computing, resilient and hybrid systems and social media.
Development of the programme Citizen Cyber Science that implies volunteer participation of citizens in development of research projects is an important part of the agreement. Partners of the centers are UNITAR and University of Geneva.
At an expanded summing up meeting, Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization emphasized the Breakthrough IT Projects programme, digitalization of the social sphere, modernization of post offices and expansion of IT solutions exports.
On January 29, at the summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization its Minister Ilya Nachvin presented a comprehensive programme for the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for 2026–2030. The report sets strategic guidelines for creating a fully-fledged AI ecosystem in the region.
Under the summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications an exhibition of innovative projects is being held.
The first floor of the exhibition features 34 developments covering scientific and technological development, unmanned systems and robotics, digitalization of industry and medicine, agrobiotechnology, smart cities, social services, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
On January 29, at 2:00 PM, an extended summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization will be held. We will report on the results of our work in 2025 and share our plans and priorities for 2026.
