IT-park celebrates 5-year anniversary

Russia’s first high technology technopark “IT-park” opened within the framework of the federal programme “Creation of high technology parks in Russian Federation” on October 23, 2009.
IT-park was recognized the best technopark in the country in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Currently, there are two IT-parks in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny. 4.3 billion roubles were invested into their establishment. 140 companies with 3772 employees are IT-park residents.
For five years IT-park residents earned 17.5 billion roubles. It is expected that by results of 2014 the proceeds will make 20 billion roubles.
The largest business incubator in Russia that fulfills a strategic task on increasing the number of IT companies in the region is working at IT-park. Graduates of the business incubator are already implementing their projects in Russia and far-abroad countries.
One of the largest data centres in Russia is located in Kazan IT-park. On March 23, 2012, IT-park Data centre and OAO KAMAZ signed an agreement about resource outsourcing that implies storage of 64 per cent of the enterprise’s data.
In 2013, IT-park was accredited by the Association of technoparks of Russia. From 2014, IT-park is a member of IASP (International Association of Science Parks).
The International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications invites graduates, their parents and all interested individuals to the Open Day event.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
