Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Head of Federal Space Agency Oleg Ostapenko

On January 15 at their meeting in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Federal Space Agency Oleg Ostapenko discussed issues of further cooperation in the sphere of space technologies and implementation of new technologies.
To the point, in 2010 Tatarstan was chosen as a pilot region for testing systems, complexes and solutions for application of results of space activity. Tatarstan is one of the leading Russian regions in using information systems.
Aide to Tatarstan President Airat Khairullin, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov took part in the meeting.

In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
