State programme “Development of information and communication technologies in the Republic of Tatarstan” “Open Tatarstan” for 2014 – 2020” has been approved in accordance with Decree of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers from 17.12.2013 № 1000.
The mission of the programme is implementation and wide use of information and communication technologies in all spheres of life, creation of a single information society in the Republic of Tatarstan and integration of the republic into the global information society.
Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
