Cisco to open ISE competence centre in Kazan

The first in Russia ISE competence centre will open today at Kazan IT park. It will be operating at the premises of ICL-KPO VS.
ISE competence centre will become the first regional consulting and expert centre in Russia in the sphere of access control Cisco solutions. The competence centre will render consulting services in the sphere of strategy and solution usage scenarios, equipment leasing services, organize trainings and seminars.
The first event dedicated to opening of the centre will be a round table on different aspects of intellectual platforms for high performance networks and latest cyber threats.

About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
