On December 22, at the final meeting of Interdepartmental working group No.15 for the implementation of the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State", Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin welcomed the participants and summed up the work of the group for 2025 and presented impressive indicators for the development of the digital economy of Tatarstan.

Key representatives of the scientific and business community of Tatarstan also participated in the meeting: people’s Deputy of the State Duma Aydar Metshin, Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan Bulat Gabdrakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Economy of the republic Sariya Sirazieva and Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Ayrat Khasyanov.

"By the end of the year, the total revenue of IT companies in the Tatarstan reached 270 billion roubles—over 256.7 billion in 2024—confirming the sector's sustainable growth even in the face of external challenges. Tax revenues from the IT industry amounted to 42.3 billion roubles, 20% higher than last year's level. The average salary in the IT sector is 122,199.8 roubles—almost 1.5 times higher than the republic average," Nachvin emphasized.

The region is successfully implementing the national "Data Economy" project, including three key areas of the federal project: "Domestic Solutions" (technological sovereignty), "Digital Public Administration" (electronic and proactive services), and "Digital Platforms in Social Sectors"—covering education, healthcare, culture and sports. Tatarstan is actively participating in the creation of 12 federal digital platforms based on GosTech, which reduces budget costs and accelerates digitalization. Particular attention was paid to participation in the national technological leadership project "Cosmos". Nachvin emphasized, the republic is a strategic center for the development of satellite technologies, navigation systems and engineering solutions for the space industry.
