The MegaFon engineers provided communications and mobile Internet to the high-speed Alekseevskoye-Almetyevsk highway under construction in order to develop the region's information infrastructure under the national project "Digital Economy".

Today, this holiday, more than ever, unites the people of our republic, recalling its rich history and focusing on key traditions and achievements.

Under the 2024 «Professionals» championship cycle, students of the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications took part in 19 competitions, eleven of which finished with the finals in summer in regions of the Russian Federation, and seven are represented at the final stage in Saint Petersburg. 

November 27 marks 136 years since the establishment of communications in the region and the birthday of Tattelecom Company, the successor to the Kazan GTS. Since 1888, the company has come a long way from a single-wire corded switch to neural networks analyzing radio coverage in subscribers' homes. Technologies have changed, and now fixed-line communications are far from the only service of the company, today also known under the brand name "Letay", whose subscribers are about 2 million residents and guests of the republic.
