136 years of communications in the region and the Tattelecom company
November 27 marks 136 years since the establishment of communications in the region and the birthday of Tattelecom Company, the successor to the Kazan GTS.
Since 1888, the company has come a long way from a single-wire corded switch to neural networks analyzing radio coverage in subscribers' homes. Technologies have changed, and now fixed-line communications are far from the only service of the company, today also known under the brand name "Letay", whose subscribers are about 2 million residents and guests of the republic.
Having preserved the historical heritage, Tattelecom has introduced new technologies, which currently form the core of the enterprise. The operator provides services of telegraph communications and wired telephony, as well as cable and digital TV, mobile communications, Wi-Fi, GPON, IP intercom, cloud video surveillance, virtual PBX, etc. In addition, the team carries out IT developments for internal products and applies AI in business processes. Years of transformation have opened up new opportunities for growth for the enterprise and allowed it to change the management system. The company continues to improve digital services, making them more convenient and accessible. The main motivation for these changes remains the desire to justify the trust of customers.
