The national flag of the Republic of Tatarstan was approved on November 29, 1991 by the resolution of the Supreme Council of the Tatar SSR. This year it celebrates its 33rd anniversary!
The author of the Tatarstan tricolor was the People's Artist of the Republic, laureate of the Tukay State Prize Tavil Khaziakhmetov. The national flag of Tatarstan embodies peace, stability and prosperity, which have always been and remain a fundamental part of our life. We are introducing innovative technologies to improve and enhance the quality of life of our residents, while remaining true to our roots and traditions, which give us strength for development and striving for new goals!
