Survey: Every third person believes letters from scammers

25 September 2024, Wednesday

On average, a third of the staff in Russian companies trust simulated fishing emails. Employees actively follow the links sent to them if they are informed, for example, about the introduction of a dress code or are offered to look at photos from a corporate event. These are the results of a joint analysis of training fishing mailings conducted by MegaFon and Kaspersky Lab.

On average, half of the employees of Russian businesses open letters from simulated mailings, 35% follow the link, and every third of them (10%) enters their personal data on third-party resources.
