Half of the cyber attacks on industrial enterprises of Tatarstan carried out during non-working hours

MTS RED, a subsidiary of the MTS digital ecosystem in cybersecurity, conducted research on cyber threats in industry. According to analysts, since the beginning of the year, enterprises in Tatarstan and other regions of Russia faced more than 20,000 attacks, almost half of which were carried out during non-working hours.

Since the beginning of the year, the MTS RED SOC center for monitoring and responding to cyber attacks has repelled more than 22,000 attacks on Russian industrial companies, including about 15% having critically important status. That is, according to enterprises, could lead to interruption of key business processes or cause serious financial damage. Industry faced an average of about 160 cybersecurity incidents per day, including 24 critical ones.
