Kazan TV tower to turn on the festive lighting in honor of Cosmonautics Day

On April 12, 1961, Soviet astronaut Yuri Gagarin made the world’s first manned flight into outer space.

On April 12, on Cosmonautics Day, the branch of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network on Tatarstan will turn on thematic lighting of the Kazan TV tower:

1.   Start of the first manned spacecraft «Vostok» against the background of the starry sky.

2.   April 12 - Cosmonautics Day, against the background of twinkling sky.

The dynamic light show will run from 7 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Thematic lighting will also be turned on at television towers in Crimea, Karachay-Cherkessia, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Nizhny Novgorod, Veliky Novgorod, Voronezh, Saratov, Yakutsk, Rostov-on-Don, Tambov, Saransk, Nalchik, Samara, Yaroslavl and other cities.
