Google robotics festival

On October 1 Google will hold robotics festival at Kazan IT park. The project “SkratchDuino”, laureate of Google Rise Awards 2013 will be presented during the event.

“SkratchDuino” is a Russian assembly kit for teaching programming, robotics and microelectronics at educational institutions. A master class for 25 informatics teachers will be held for teachers.

On October 2 a master class for 50 school children aged from 13 and competitions on programming will also be held. Via this project Google aims to teach children Algorithmics and programming, robotics and microelectronics, and show that real and virtual worlds are connected.
