Yandex Textbook launches courses on neural networks for schoolchildren and teachers

The courses are available from January 25 in the teacher’s personal account via the link.

Student module is aimed at give students a realistic understanding of neural networks, which will be based on factual information, their own practical experience and conclusions from discussions with classmates and the teacher. The children's module was developed for the programme of advanced computer science in 10th grade, but is also suitable for students in grades 5–11 for elective classes.

The adult module will help teachers improve their skills in AI. In the course for teachers, teachers will learn how to integrate neural networks into teaching activities and learn the basics of promting (composing competent queries for GPT).

At the end of the course, teachers will have to pass a test on the theory they have covered and prepare a lesson on neural networks for students. At the end of the course, all teachers who successfully complete the final tasks will receive a state-issued certificate of advanced training for 16 hours.
