Letay Operator expands 4G network in Tatarstan

Letay improved 4G network coverage on socially significant areas. In August, the operator built and upgraded 25 base stations (BS) in 22 settlements of the republic. The works covered medical institutions, university, transport hub and other locations. «Letay» supported the celebration of the Day of Tatarstan and the city of Kazan. The operator installed a mobile base station at the Kazan Family Center and expanded the capacity of another 16 telecom points throughout the city. As a result, on August 30, «Letay» recorded an increase of 77 percent in voice traffic, and 51 percent in package traffic compared to last year’s data.
