Three residents of Tatarstan win the All-Russian hackathon on artificial intelligence
The winners of the All-Russian hackathon of the project “Digital Breakthrough. Season: Artificial Intelligence” under the presidential platform “Russia – a land of opportunities” were awarded in Nizhny Novgorod. At the end of the hackathon, 30 winning teams shared a prize fund of 10,000,000 roubles. Organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the hackathon is held under the federal project “Artificial Intelligence” of the national project “Digital Economy”.
Participants in the artificial intelligence hackathon developed solutions in 10 cases, in each case the teams competed for a prize fund of 1,000,000 roubles: first place - 500,000 roubles, second - 300,000 roubles, third - 200,000 roubles. 169 teams reached the final defenses. The case holders at the All-Russian Hackathon were RUFORM Company (national video hosting RUTUBE), Russian Railways, Samolet Company, Rosatom State Corporation, Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Digital Consulting Solutions and EVOTOR Company, Mercator Holding. Team members 23:59 Nikita Surnachev, Yaroslav Yudinskikh and Vladislav Levchenko took first place in the case of creating a voice assistant for the driver from Russian Railways case holder.
The team introduced a cross-platform voice assistant that serves as a full-time driver’s assistant. The assistant is able to recognize speech in the conditions of external noise, quickly understand the essence of the problem and respond to the driver in both simplified and broader technical format.
Based on the results of the hackathons, each participant of the “Digital Breakthrough project. Season: Artificial Intelligence” receives the opportunity for career growth and a social lift in the IT sphere, assessment and feedback on developed solutions, the opportunity to create a unique digital profile available to partners, as well as the opportunity to undergo an interview and receive the results of an HR assessment. The project “Digital Breakthrough. Season: Artificial Intelligence" is aimed at creating a system for selecting personnel to solve problems, searching, developing and supporting talented, promising specialists who want to create products and services using artificial intelligence technologies, increasing the level of provision of the Russian AI technology market with qualified personnel, as well as the formation and development AI communities, popularization, creation and development of products using artificial intelligence.
