Accelerated Mobile Internet available in new districts of Naberezhnye Chelny

Over 2,000 residents of the 63rd and 69th complexes of the automobile city are provided with mobile Internet at speeds up to 100 Mbit/s. The MegaFon company launched an LTE base station on Abdurakhman Absalyamov Avenue near actively built-up microdistricts.

Based on measurements made by the company’s engineers, the average data transfer rate in the complexes is 25 Mbit/s and the maximum reaches 100 Mbit/s.

Earlier, the technical service of the operator upgraded about 130 communication facilities in Naberezhnye Chelny and the nearest suburbs. The use of an additional frequency resource helped to increase the network capacity by 50 per cent in the 1800 MHz band and speed up data transmission in the devices of city residents by 25 per cent.
