Communication improved in the Raifa Monastery

MegaFon expanded its network coverage by installing a base station in a place of attraction for pilgrims and tourists from all over the country. Now visitors have access to a stable voice signal and Internet at an average speed of 40 Mbps.

The hardware operates in several bands at once, including LTE 1800 MHz. The communication infrastructure provides fast data transmission over an area of more than 20 sq. km. Now the 4G signal has become more reliable and faster in the whole village of Raifa Township, as well as in the arboretum of the Volga-Kama Reserve.

According to the company, the tourist flow among the operator's clients to ancient buildings has increased by 15 per cent since the beginning of 2023 compared to the same period last year.
