Innostage Group informs about a hacker attack on the GitHub developer service

Social network for GitHub developers suffered from a large-scale attack: the attackers changed more than 35,000 code repositories for various systems. According to the CyberART Cyberthreat Prevention Center of the Innostage Group, hackers could use fake credentials.

Due to a tip from information security experts, Github owners were able to quickly and almost completely remove malicious code from the social network, so far only 290 repositories remain modified.
