IT companies to receive a preferential loan if they refuse to pay dividends

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a government decree under which IT companies accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation applying for a soft loan, will have to refuse to pay dividends for the duration of the loan agreement.
The document is published on the official legal information portal.
For the period of the loan agreement, companies should retain employment of at least 85 per cent of the average number of employees in relation to March 1, 2022. Salary indexation of the employees should be carried out at least once a year at a rate of inflation.
